An Endless Pool is an excellent investment in your wellness and at Happy Hot Tubs we offer different service plans and water treatment plans to ensure you enjoy your pool for many years. Our plans help protect the workings of your swim spa while keeping your water fresh for a great swim experience.


Swim Spa Annual Service

This visit, which is recommended annually is essentially an MOT for your swim spa or Endless Pool. The service involves a 26-point check of all major components, as well as a flush, deep clean and a 50% partial drain and refill.

Swim Spa O-Care

O-Care is a weekly water conditoner used by thousands of Hot Tubbers across the World. They also have a great product for swim spa users with the following benefits:swim spa o-care

26-Point Inspection for Annual Service

1. Water analysis
Test the current sanitizer and pH levels in the spa water.

2. Water treatment recommendations
Based on water analysis and condition of water recommend changes to care routine or products required to keep hot tub in good condition. 

3. Visual plumbing check
Check plumbing including pipe/heater unions and isolation valve connections for integrity and identify if any leaks are present.

4. Test jet functions
Check all jets for satisfactory operation. Ensure they all turn on and off, and free up any stuck ones if possible.

5. Test topside diverter and air values (if fitted)
Open all diverter and air values to ensure working correctly.

6. Test ozone output (if fitted)
Check ozone system and ozone jet are operating correctly, and advise if ozone unit needs changing.

7. Visual check of pump and heater seals
Remove pump and heater unions and check seals.

8. Test all electrical components
Test operation of all electrical equipment, and visually check all the interconnecting wiring for integrity and insulation.

9. Visually check circuit board
Conduct visual check of circuit board and that it is operating correctly.

10. Test RCD & isolator (if fitted)
Perform a button test of the RCD if available and accessible. Test power input and output to isolator if available and accessible.

11. Complete bio film pipe clean
Flush out the whole system with Happy Flush. This is a very strong biodegradable formula that gets deep into your hot tub system and helps remove dirt and scale build up.

12. Drain, rinse and wet vacuum spa and jets
Drain water from the hot tub with a submersible pump. Rinse to clean, and wet vacuum remaining water and debris from spa and jets.

13. Clean and buff spa shell
Wipe clean spa shell with spa surface cleaner. Clean off scale and residue where possible.

 

 

14. Headrest condition report (if fitted)
Thorough inspection of any headrests or pillows. Condition rating will be indicated on service report along with any recommendations and comments.

15. Clean headrests (if fitted)
Remove headrests or pillows (where possible), rinse and clean with spa surface cleaner.

16. Filter condition report
Thorough inspection of filter(s) and assessment of effectiveness. Filters are vital to the running of your hot tub and may need replacing if in poor condition. Condition rating will be indicated on service report along with any recommendations and comments.

17. Clean and refit filter(s)
Spray with filter cleaner and then clean between pleats using Super Blaster hose pipe attachment.

18. Clean outside of spa cabinet
Wipe down and clean exterior spa cabinet.

19. Vacuum inside of cabinet (where access allows)
Remove panels, clean and vacuum service compartment and any other accessible areas.

20. Clean cover lifter (if fitted)
Wipe and clean cover lifter.

21. Cover lifter condition report (if fitted)
Inspection of lifter mechanism to ensure safe and smooth operation. Condition rating will be indicated on service report along with any recommendations and comments.

22. Clean cover and treat with UV protection
Clean cover and apply 303 protector for UV protection, and to help repel dust, soiling and staining.

23. Cover condition report
Inspect cover for fit, integrity, tears, water absorption and insulation properties. Also inspect cover clips (if fitted) and that cover can be securely clipped down. A poor fitting or damaged cover can affect the insulation of your hot tub. Condition rating will be indicated on service report along with any recommendations and comments.

24. Refill hot tub to correct level
Refill with clean water to the required operating level 

25. Add sanitiser
Add sanitiser to achieve a level of 2-4ppm (mg/l) Chlorine or 3-5ppm (mg/l) Bromine.

26. pH level balance
Add pH+ or pH- to begin the correction of the pH level to attain a level of 7.2 to 7.4

Terms and Conditions

Service dates
The services included on the plan will be carried out on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. If not already Our Customer Service team will liaise with you to arrange mutually agreeable dates to complete these services.
 
Maintenance Visits
The Swim Spa Monthly plan includes eleven Maintenance visits within the 12 month contract period. The Bi-Monthly plan includes five visits within a 12 month period. This service includes a water chemical check; addition of sanitizer; balancing of pH level; filter clean (including pre-filter tray) with specialist filter cleaner; head rest clean; cabinet clean; step clean; shell clean (above water line); cover clean (underside and topside) with UV protection applied to hard covers (not suitable for roll on covers); jet vacuum bottom of pool; reset reminders in maintenance log; check error log; filter condition report; cover condition report; cover lifter condition report; headrest condition report. The Pool Fresh Service does not include a drain or refill of your pool. Happy Hot Tubs reserves the right to add, remove or amend the service checks as we deem necessary.
 
Annual Service of Hot Tub (only applies to Swim spas with integrated Hot Tub End)
The Swim Spa Monthly Plan includes one annual service within the 12 month contract. This service includes a complete bio film pipe clean; drain, rinse and wet vacuum of spa and jets; clean and refit of filter(s); clean of headrests (if fitted); refill of hot tub to correct level; addition of sanitizer, balancing of pH level; check that heater has activated; clean outside of cabinet and steps; clean cover and treat with UV protection. Happy Hot Tubs reserves the right to add, remove or amend the service checks as we deem necessary.
 
Pool Annual Service
The Swim Spa Monthly/Bi-Monthly Plan includes one annual service within the 12 month contract.
This annual service includes a 50% water drain down, and refill. There must be an adequate water supply available for our engineer to refill the pool. An annual service typically includes a visual plumbing check; testing of jet functions; testing of topside diverter/air valves (if fitted); testing of ozone output (if fitted); visual check of pump and heater seals; testing of all electrical components; visual check of circuit board; testing of RCD and isolator (if fitted); 50% drain; jet vacuum bottom of pool, clean and buff of pool shell (above waterline); clean of headrests (if fitted); replace filters with new Happy Hot Tub Endless Pool filters and clean the pre-filter tray; clean outside of pool cabinet and steps; vacuum inside cabinet (where access allows); clean cover lifter (if fitted); cover clean (underside and topside) with UV protection applied to hard covers (not suitable for roll on covers); refill pool to correct level; reset reminders in maintenance log; check error log; add sanitiser; balance pH level. Happy Hot Tubs reserves the right to add, remove or amend the service checks as we deem necessary.
 
Area Eligibility
The Swim Spa Plan is only available to customers within our serviceable area. Plans outside this area are priced on application.
 
Gaining Access To Your Property
It is your responsibility to allow us access to your property so we can service your pool. If an appointment is made and we cannot gain access then a charge may be levied for the wasted visit.
 
Gaining Access To Your Pool
It is your responsibility to ensure your pool is positioned with adequate space around the cabinet so our engineer can access all equipment and pipework. If an appointment is made and we cannot gain adequate access to complete the scheduled service then a charge may be levied for the wasted visit.
 
Moving House
The Swim Spa Plan will only be transferrable from one property to another if your new property is within our serviceable area.  If you intend to move please contact us on 02380 812 769 or [email protected] to find out if we will be able to transfer your plan to your new address.  If your new property is outside our serviceable area, then depending on the location we may be unable to provide the remaining services on your plan, or you may have to pay an additional amount to cover extra travelling time. If you have paid an annual fee and your new location is too far away for us to complete your remaining services then we will refund you the pro-rata amount for any services/products not provided yet.
 
Transfer of ownership
If you opt to sell your pool during your contract period then we will allow the remainder of the contract period to be transferred to the new owner if they live within our serviceable area and you provide their details.
 
Duration & renewals
The Swim Spa Plan Agreement is a minimum 12 month contract. Your plan will auto-renew on an  annual basis unless you give us one calendar months’ notice to cancel prior to the renewal date.  Renewed plans commence on another 12 month contract term.
 
Cost
The cost is stated in the cover details of this document. We reserve the right to review prices on an annual basis, so the renewal cost of your plan may change in the future. If this occurs we will advise you of any price increase prior to renewal so you can decide if you wished to continue.
 
Payment
Payment of the plan can be made in one annual payment or spread across 12 equal monthly payments.  After 12 months, if we have not received your written notice to cancel, then your plan will auto renew for another 12 month period.  If you have opted to pay monthly your payments will continue. No visits will be completed prior to payment.
 
Missed Payments
If you miss a payment, your plan will be suspended until payments are up to date. We will attempt to contact you to update your payment details, but if we are unsuccessful then we may be forced to cancel your plan. Before we cancel your plan we will write to you to advise you of our intention to cancel along with details of any money owed.
 
Cancellation of contract
You have the right to cancel after 12 months, but any plan benefits will cease the day of cancellation and no refund will be given. Please note your plan will auto renew after 12 months unless you give us one calendar months’ notice to cancel prior to the renewal date.
