To maintain and balance your PH level, it is recommended to test your water prior to balancing. You can do this with test strips, a photometer or a comparator. If your PH level is not within the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6, you would need to calculate your required dose before adding either PH plus or PH Minus. PH Minus can also be used to reduce the total alkalinity within your hot tub or swimming pool.
In hot tubs this can be added directly to the water with the jets running. In a swimming pool or cold plunge, we recommend pre-dissolving in a clean bucket of water before application.
