Happy Hot Tubs anti foam. Available in 500ml (inc. Spray nozzle), 1L or 5L bottles. Our product is silicone based and has been specifically formulated for hot tubs to remove surface foaming or bubbles caused by sun cream, fake tan, body oils any many other cosmetics. This product is a short term fix and will not fully alleviate the problem. To oxidise (burn off) what is causing the foaming, use Happy Hot Tubs Non chlorine Shock

Why does my hot tub water foam?
This is caused by the entry of soaps, shampoos and detergents (non-organics) into the spa water. These sort of products disrupt the water and cause it to foam. Another reason for foaming may be that a filter was not rinsed thoroughly enough after cleaning in solution.

Is Happy no foam a long term solution for spa water foaming?

Does this product affect my water chemistry?
Happy No Foam is a neutral chemical and will not affect chlorine, bromine, PH or Alkalinity level. The only slight side effect of this product is, if overused this can cause a clear jelly-like build-up on your filters as this product is silicone-based. To prevent this, use sparingly. Take a look at our Non Chlorine Shock that will oxidise any cosmetics preventing foaming.

Directions for use

Directions for use No foam 500ml spray

  1. Shake bottle thoroughly before use
  2. Ensure that your spa circulation pump is turned on
  3. Lightly spray over the surface of your spa
  4. Leave for 10 minutes
  5. Repeat dose if necessary

Directions for use 1L and 5L

  1. Ensure that the circulation pump is running and the spa is not in use.
  2. Shake the bottle before use
  3. Measure out the required dose from the table below and pour directly over the surface of the spa water
  4. Leave for 5 minutes, repeat dose if necessary
