AquaSparkle Bromine Granules are used for controlling bacteria in spa water.

They are highly effective granules used for sanitation and algae control of spa water. The granules are relatively PH neutral.

Our customers find these very useful to use alongside bromine tablets.

This can be used in hot tubs as a Bromine-based shock treatment, simply shock, then let flush through the system.

Do I need to pre-dissolve these bromine granules?
If your water is cold, it is recommend to pre-dissolve these in a bucket of warm water before adding. If your water is hot, you can simply add the recommended dose to your filter area to assist with distribution around the tub

How much should I use?
This depends on your water volume within your hot tub. You can find our dosing instructions/guidelines on the back of the tub. For example: a 1000L hot tub would require 3 grams of Bromine granules to increase your levels by 1ppm

Directions for use
  1. Maintain PH levels within the ideal range 7.2-7.6. If not in range, adjust. 
  2. Maintain bromine residuals within the range of 3-5mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled spas or spas left drained for a period of time require an initial start up dose of 50mg/l (ppm) of Free Chlorine ciruclated for a minimum of an hour. 
  3. Apply this product directlty to your spa water whilst the spa pump(s) are turned on to aid distribution. 
  4. If using this product for shock treatment, allow 30 minutes before bathing recommences.
