You can position the Swim Pace Display anywhere that's convenient and clearly visible to the swimmer. It is weather-resistant, but performs most reliably when placed in a somewhat sheltered spot that avoids constant or heavy exposure to rain.
The large, bright LED digits and anti-glare screen work well even in direct sunlight; however, visibility is best when the display is mounted in shade. Brightness can be lowered for indoor pools. Mount the unit close to the pool edge where the swimmer can easily read it during laps. The included Velcro mounting tape lets you securely attach it to almost any surface.
The display receives both power and data from the controller via a standard telephone cord. Choose a mounting location that allows the phone cord to reach the controller without strain. If you need a longer cable, additional 4-conductor phone cord and inline couplers are readily available at any electronics or hardware store.
Comes with 15 metres of cable.
