These 200g multifunctional chlorine tablets are used for the disinfection of your swimming pool and for controlling bacteria and algae. Placed into your pool skimmer, floating dispenser or automatic inline feeder. The tablets contain a high chlorine level and slowly erode over a 3-5 day period depending on water flow in your swimming pool. These multifunctional tablets contain:
- Algaecide to help prevent algae in the long term.
- Clarifier, which simply ensures your pool water is crystal clear.
- Pool stabiliser (Cyanuric Acid), which helps prevent the loss of chlorine to sunlight.

FAQ's
Can I crush up these tablets and use them as granules?
No, these tablets are specfically designed to slowly erode over a period of time within your swimming pool, crushing them up could pose a health risk as chlorine must be treated with great care. The granular equivalent of this product is Multifunctional Chlorine Granules.
Can I place them directly into my swimming pool?
No, the tablets are not designed to be thrown in, they must be placed in a sealed/covered area, such as a floating dispenser or skimmer basket.
How can I tell these are multifunctional?
These tablets contain small blue particles, which are the goodys contained within the tablet itself, this is the only visible way of seeing their multifunctional charateristics.
Are multifuncational tablets ok for my hot tub?
We do not reccomend these for hot tubs due to the size of the tablet. Also, the use of stabiliser is not needed in hot tubs as they are not open to the sun most of the time and stabiliser build-up in hot tubs can cause issues if above a certain level. Small Chlorine Tablets are suitable for hot tubs.
- Remove plastic wrapping, if applicable, and place tablets in a floating dispenser or in-line chlorine feeder.
- Never place tablets in direct contact with the pool surface or areas of still water.
- Recommended dosage: 2 tablets per 50m3 (11,000 gallons) of pool water. Dissolution time approx 3-5 days. Floating dispenser - 2 tablets per 32m3 (7,000 gallons), dissolution time approx 10-14 days.
- If using a feeder/dispenser, ensure tablets used are of the same chemical (trichloroisocyanuric acid). If other materials have been used previously, wash out the feeder thoroughly before adding tablets.
- Check chlorine levels regularly with a test kit and maintain a chlorine residual of 2-3mg/l (ppm).
- Check PH levels regularly with a test kit and maintain a level of 7.2-7.6.
- Once a fortnight, use a Shock product like Happy Granular Shock. This will help destroy any organic matter that may have built up. Do not put shock in the feeder.
