These non-stabilised chlorine shock granules are ideal for shock dosing or regular oxidisation of swimming pool water. They can also be used for routine disinfection of swimming pools.

What does shock mean?
Shock dosing is way to increase your chlorine level to above the normal parameters (maximum 10ppm) to give your swimming pool a good clean, restore clarity or boost levels. This can be done weekly or fortnightly.
What does non-stabilised mean?
These granules do not contain any cyanuric acid. Cyanuric acid is added to Stabilised Chlorine Granules to help stabilise the chlorine and slow down burn off from the sun. Too much stabiliser can cause issues with water chemistry.

- Maintain PH levels within the ideal range of 7.2-7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust.
- Maintain Free Chlorine residuals routinely in the 1-3 mg/l (ppm) range. Shock or oxidising procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum of 10mg/l (ppm) for a full shock treatment.
- Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallon (10 litres) of water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned 'on', preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
- Repeat dose/application if necessary to achieve the desired level.
- After using the product, pool water may become cloudy temporarily so keep the filtration pump running until it clears.
- After shock treatment procedures allow the chlorine to drop below 5 ppm before bathing recommences and in any event wait for at least 30 minutes before bathing recommences.
