Happy Leak Seal is a concentrated formulation to seal minors leaks in spas and hot tubs. It can be used in leaks found in either the shell or internal plumbing system. This is a fast acting formula and usually works to fix minor leaks within 48 hours.
Your one shot dose - Fixes most minor leaks in spas and hot tubs. Use 225ml per 2000 litres of water (half a bottle is usually fine for most hot tubs). See directions for use for full dosing/application instructions.
What temperature do you recommend the water should be when using this leak sealant?
The only condition is that the product cannot be used in water with a temperature of less than 6 degrees Celsius.
Can this be used with inflatable hot tubs?
This won't be the most effective product to use with inflatable hot tubs. For inflatable hot tubs, it is best to find the leak in the vinyl skin and seal it with a vinyl repair kit

Application
Remove all cartridge filters, or for sand filters select the BYPASS option (if applicable) prior to dosing the product into water
With the circulation pump running, add Happy Leak Seal slowly through the skimmer or in front of any other suction intake.
Happy Leak Seal is very heavy and will sink to the deepest point, which in most cases will be below the bottom drain, therefore the product must be stirred back into suspension every 45 minutes, whilst the water circulates.
Leave the water circulating for a minimum of 3 hours after which time check to see if the leak has stopped (if visible) and/or check the water level. If the leak has slowed down continue to run the circulation system for another 3 hours.
When the leak has stopped, turn off the circulation and let any residue settle to the bottom of the hot tub - this can then be removed with a suitable spa vacuum.
Replace the cartridge filters and let the system circulate for 45 minutes, after which time remove the cartridges and thoroughly clean with fresh water to remove any product residue from the filter pleats.
After the leak has stopped, it is recommended that the spa be fully drained and left empty for a minimum of 48 hours in order for Happy Leak Seal to fully cure.
