Because we want you to have maximum enjoyment out of your Hot Tub, start considering how you would like it positioned. Things to consider include:
What seats would you like looking out into the garden?
Where would you like the control touch pad?
Would you like it pushed up to a wall as far as possible or would you like a gap in order to retrieve items that fall down the side?
Which side would you like to store the cover?
Important : Site selection and preparation are your responsibility. Carefully read these instructions and consult us if you have any questions.
You probably have a spot picked out for your new system, whether it's indoors or outdoors, on a patio or on a deck. Just make sure you check the following:
The majority of hot tubs are delivered on their side, on a Spa Dolly cart with pneumatic tires, which is part of our Spa Dolly delivery trailer. Our vehicle and trailer measures approximately 7m so it is important to ensure that we have space to park near the location upon arrival. The trailer and dolly is pictured below along with a diagram of its dimensions.
We also use a sledge for smaller spas and where height is an issue.
When measuring height, consider that the spa trolley adds roughly 20cm to the height of the spa when it is transported on its side. There must be a clear level access route over hard ground, from the delivery vehicle to the desired location of the tub. Soft ground and/or one of two small steps can be overcome with a ramp. Steep inclines or more than one or two small steps may prevent delivery via trolley, so you may have to consider booking a crane. We have delivered thousands of hot tubs; so remember to consult us if you have any worries about delivery with a spa Dolly cart.
If your hot tub cannot be delivered using our spa trolley, we are able to use a hi-ab or crane depending on the length of the lift. Crane lifts are generally for large lifts (e.g. over houses) and hi-ab lifts are usually for small lifts (e.g. over walls or fences).
The things that prevent crane lifts are telephone and power lines that run near the area of the lift, weak driveways that could be damaged if a crane is based on them and the length of the lift. All of these issues can be ironed out by the crane company on a site survey so do not worry, you are in safe hands!
The provision of an electrical supply to the intended location of the tub is the sole responsibility of the homeowner. The electrical installation must be under taken by a qualified electrician and confirm to IEE regulations current edition. We are happy to recommend an electrician, simply let your sales person know.
What we supply: IP67 Commando 32A or 16A female plug (pre-delivery). 2m of cable coming from the hot tub to plug into your 5-7m of cable using the plug provided, as fitted by your electrician. IP67 Commando 32A or 16A male plug (on delivery), used to connect to your electricians wire.
